Did you know Universal Services is one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast for correctional facilities? This year we will have completed projects in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Montana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Texas, and Georgia.
Due to security constraints at correctional facilities, we use helicopters to remove and set new mechanical units. This allows us to complete the project without jeopardizing the facilities’ security. This past Friday, we completed a job at Leavenworth Correctional Facility in Kansas with the use of a Black Hawk. Earlier in the year at McRae Correctional Facility in Georgia, we replaced 18 units and had the facility fully operational within ONE day!
